Barclays Global Investors is looking for Regional Sales Associates to enthusiastically sell its well-known product: iShares exchange-traded funds in its newly established Jersey City location. The RSA will partner with an established business development group within a channel of the Intermediary Investor Business Group.
Job Responsibilities
The Regional Sales Associate serves as the central point of contact for the team. As a member of the team, a RSA will: • Make outbound telephone calls and follow-up on leads to Advisors within their designated territory and channel • Deliver educational sales presentations over the telephone on Exchange Traded Funds. • Manage database of existing and prospective clients • Promote sharing and exchange of knowledge between channels within US Intermediary Investor Business Group • Track leads and sales production
Qualifications
• BA/BS degree required • NASD Series 7 and 63 licenses required • 2+ years of related experience in mutual fund or brokerage industry • Proven ability to develop relationships with Advisors and deliver ideas and information that will generate sales and assets • Ability to succeed in a challenging and fast paced team environment • Commitment to excellence • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Basic understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and web-based technology • Strong character references • Clean compliance record
