You will be a part of a Global Audit Team within a Global Financial Institution.
* Executes day-to-day operational audit work on the basis of the firms Group Audit Methodologies, designs tests to assess control effectiveness for critical risks, effective and efficient use of System Analysis/Test/Issues). * Discuss exceptions found during fieldwork with Senior Auditor/Senior Audit Manager/Country Head, may participate in exit meetings. * Develops and maintains broad financial services experience and Bank knowledge. Keeps abreast of business/industry changes and their affect on the firms plan/approach and Core Risk Matrices. * Completes audit work/assignments in line with agreed budgets. * Participates in internal projects and potentially in Special Investigations. * Apprise Senior Auditor/Senior Audit Manager/Country Head of business information and possible affect on audit planning. * Communicates with Senior Auditor/Senior Audit Manager/Country Head regarding audit progress and escalates problems/delays. * Partners with other groups during audit engagement to ensure an integrated approach (e.g. technology teams).
The ideal candidate must have the following: * 10 years of experience in investment banking and/or big 4 accounting firm. * Understands front to back end processes within the Sales and Trading environment (e.g. Derivatives, Fixed Income, Equities, and Commodities). * Exposure to financial products and the ability to identify and evaluate risks associated with these products. * Ability to identify and evaluate risks within the control environment. * Good auditing skills. * Strong communications skills both verbal and written. * Team player and be able to work well with the Audit team. * Ability to work under minimal supervision. * Bachelors degree required in Accounting or Finance.
