Our leading Financial Services client is embarking on a number of strategic development initiatives that require the services of a number of experienced Java J2EE Developers across various parts of the technology team. The roles represent a mix of project and BAU activities with the opportunity to play to your particular strengths. We are seeking experienced developers who are able to actively contribute to a number of multi million dollar programs of work that will directly influence the productivity and delivery capability of the business. Your technical experience should include: - Strong Java programming skills
- Hibernate
- Spring
- XML Handling
- Eclipse
- Subversion
- JUnit
With at least one of the following: - Swing ⁄ Netbeans or any other form of Desktop Java
- RIA technology ( Specifically Ext-JS) alternatively, very strong Javascript skills
- Drools or a RETE based rules engine
- Experience with ILOG (desirable)
Non technical skills required include: - Excellent problem solving ability
- Strong team player attributes
- Commitment to development and testing standards
- Previous experience in a Financial Services organisation highly regarded
