Major International Bank with a global presence located in midtown Manhattan seeks a Private Banker with a very strong Foreign Exchange background to join our growing Forex team.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Visit existing and potential clients to determine their F/X product needs. - Provide weekly market updates to Branch and Rep. Offices. - Source in-house business in both F/X and interest rate derivatives from the Bank's local Latin American clients and securitization customers. - Generate 1 MM on F/X sales revenue. - Explore F/X sales with select NY Branch clients, as well as supporting our global F/X sales to Latin American clients.
The ideal candidate for this unique and exciting position should have a minimum of 5 years F/X experience with Private Clients. Must have a proven record in successfully servicing client business and dealing with multiple offices. Fluency in Spanish is required; Knowledge of Portuguese and Hebrew is a plus. Bachelors Degree in Business or Finance. Proficient in all market related systems - EBS, Reuters and other liquidity channels. Knowledge of market data systems including Bloomberg and associated graphic packages; MS Office applications. Travel to Rep Offices and Clients.
