Liquid Capital has commodities, systematic, quantitative and sales trading groups. Based in London with offices in Sydney, Chicago, New York and Chengdu. We are seeking to employ a Product Controller to join the Finance Team in London.
Liquid Capital is an independent options market-maker and a leading provider of liquidity in both fixed income and equity listed derivatives. It is regularly Number 1 by volume in major products on various exchanges. With about 200 staff, we are based in London with other offices in USA, Asia and Australia. As well as being one of the premier providers of liquidity in exchange-listed options we also have commodities, systematic, quantitative and sales trading groups.
We are seeking to employ a Product Controller to join the team in London. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this newly created role will be to validate and produce reliable P&L for management reporting; it will require the verification, analysis, reconciliation and production of the daily P&L numbers of the trading desks taking into account such things as mark-to-market and theoretical valuation of the options positions.
Essentials
- Experience and thorough knowledge of product control in stock and both equity and fixed income listed futures and options.
- Strong Excel.
- Report production skills.
Desirables
- Experience of having worked for a listed option market maker.
- Be working towards or have an accounting qualification.
