The primary purpose of this role is to provide timely, accurate written updates to the IFR Markets (Credit) real-time service, covering the Primary and Secondary Investment Grade Eurobond markets plus derivatives (Credit Default Swaps) as part of a small team. Proactively generate insightful comment and analysis, in addition to more reactive new issue coverage. Establish and maintain such internal and external relationships as necessary. Contribute to ongoing development of the Credit offering. Keep fully abreast of market developments/evolution. This is a key role on IFR Credit. Reporting line is to Managing Analyst, IFR Markets. The team is responsible for a live intra-day news/analysis service, seeking to establish IFR Markets as the market-leading player in this space. IFR Markets is an element of the Thomson Reuters Media group. No direct financial responsibility. Output will be aimed at the European market primarily but packaged as part of the Global offering. Ensure real-time services updated regularly and to deadline, to attract and retain subscription revenue. Contribute own writing as necessary and as directed, demonstrating a high level of product knowledge and market awareness. Support Managing Analyst in developing the product. Represent and promote IFR Markets and Thomson Reuters. Build confidence in the IFR Credit product. Keep abreast of market developments; suggest enhancements to stay ahead of competitors. Qualifications & Expertise: - Banking reporting expertise
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent preferred
