A leading logistics company is seeking a Regional Head of Legal Services to join their Hong Kong office. The successful candidate will be responsible for the legal affairs within the China and Taiwan region and will serve as the primary contact for any legal matters. Responsibilities will include contract drafting, review and negotiations, monitoring and coordinating claims and litigation, coordination of regulatory matters and the coordination of dedicated insurance matters in conjunction with corporate insurance management. The incumbent will be required to implement regular Legal Compliance Audits and manage both in-house and external legal counsels. Applications are sought from candidates who possess a recognized degree in Law and has a minimum of 7 years PQE of professional legal experience in a corporate or law firm environment. Experience in the logistics and transportation industry is a must.  Knowledge of transportation and freight forwarding law, IT law, lease agreements, M&A, or anti-trust law would be an advantage. Fluent English, Cantonese and Mandarin are pre-requisites for this role.
