An exciting opportunity has arisen for a technical accounting expert with strong Insurance experience to work within a dynamic and growing FTSE Insurance business.
Working for a multi award winning FTSE listed general Insurance business - locations within 130 countries globally.
This is a key role within the group finance function reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller - the incumbent will provide technical support and ensure that the various statutory, regulatory and statistical returns are submitted in accordance with Group or external timetables at a consistently high standard, contribute to the development of appropriate financial controls to meet Accounting Standards and Group requirements, influence decisions and participate in projects relating to strategy so that relevant issues are considered and business opportunities maximised, lead or be involved in ad-hoc projects as relevant, and provide technical expertise as required, research current and emerging technical accounting issues, and ensuretechnical excellence is delivered across Finance through appropriate training. ACA, ACCA qualification is essential with a strong preference for Big 4 practice experience.
