LOCATION: London
POSITION: The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting the direct sales of alternative financial products (private equity funds, real estate funds, hedge funds, fund of funds), to institutional clients, including consultants, financial institutions and platforms.
The role will include:
Expanding and diversifying relationships with clients Identifying new prospects, cold calls, origination. Enter discussions, understand clients' objectives Map Assets & Liabilities; determine investment profile and/or risk budget, appropriate risk and liquidity levels and time horizons Introduce appropriate investments, narrow down product merits Grow AUM / expand product mix / develop scope and scale of relationship
REQUIREMENTS: The ideal candidate will have at least fifteen years experience in institutional and private client sales in the UK and/or Europe. A demonstrable track record of business development, a loyal client following and strong technical skills are required. In particular, the successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to discuss complex products with demanding clients.
