Description: Workforce Planning (WFP) is a new discipline within Global Talent in IB HR. To date, WFP has been conducted as a series of pilots, most recently in China.
WFP aims to provide a toolset to support closer alignment between long-term business strategy and talent management activities in HR, with the aim of ensuring we have the right person in the right place at the right time and cost to be able to realise the business strategy. Key tasks and responsibilities include: - Detailed planning of phase of work
- Continuous improvement activities to transition the desktop-based toolset to run-the-bank for China
- Working with HR IT to select an enterprise technology solution
- Refining the WFP operating model, including the roles and responsibilities of business managers, CRMs and a central WFP team
- Defining a process by which different functions and locations can adopt and use WFP
- Developing a metrics approach, enabling tracking of actual sourcing activities to workforce plan over time
Requirements: Our ideal candidates should have the following requisites: - User-facing requirements synthesis in a cross-business environment
- Data-oriented analytics
- Work experience within HR, project management and change management
- Basic understanding of MS Excel macros
- Confident ability to leverage resources in support of change
- Flexible – open to changing requirements and new approaches
- Aptitude for networking widely, to develop close working relationships with business and HR colleagues
- Confident and articulate communications
- Undergraduate degree is a must
- Excellent spoken and written English and ability to speak Cantonese and Mandarin desirable
- Energy and creativity – experience of bringing new solutions and perspectives to help create better stakeholder outcomes
