Based in London but with frequent travel to regional offices across the US and Asia, this individual will report to the CEO, sit on the global investment committee and be responsible for:

• Ensuring conformity with investment guidelines.

• Setting investment policy and risk management guidelines (portfolio strategy: asset allocation, geographic allocation, total return requirements, risk metrics).

• Applying the investment process consistently across regions and portfolio investments and ensuring management of profitable realization of investments.

• Structuring, codification, and implementation of the investment and asset management processes, including clear leadership of the investment committee.

• Consistency of company-level models.
• Investment memo integrity
• Due diligence standards across regions
• Critically analyze deal structures and terms

• Provide an ongoing macro economic view for markets and investments globally.

• Support CEO and Capital Markets as a part of wider investment team in raising capital as a secondary responsibility.

• Work closely with the Regional Heads, CFO and CEO as appropriate to ensure a clear, strong, and consistent regional marketing story to investee companies and limited partners.

• Provide strong leadership and guidance to the asset management team, including ensuring that investee company covenants are adhered to.

• Actively demonstrate effective use of the key skills of listening, coaching, direct interpersonal feedback, and performance goal setting to continually drive team and individual performance.

You will have a proven, long running track record as a senior investment professional in a similar firm, sourcing, structuring and executing investments into listed and private real estate companies. You will have transacted globally, ideally with exposure to the US, Europe and Asia.
