An Internationally active Trading Commodities and Investments Company, physically and on the LME seeks a Freight Trader to develop a Freight Platform to enable the company to trade on a C+F basis.
Your initial remit will be the Trading of Energy OTC Swaps and Futures and/or Base Metals OTC Swaps with the view to growing the number of Commodities and products traded in the near future.
Your main duties and responsibilities will be to manage a portfolio of commodity derivatives in order to enhance the team performance, to provide competitive prices on request for persons in charge of commodity derivatives sales, to take proprietary positions within the risk limits given, in order to generate the profit and to support the establishment of the commodity derivatives trading desk in terms of its infrastructure.
To be considered for this role, you must be FSA Qualified and have prior knowledge and experience f Trading Energy and/or Base Metals You must also have experience of Market Analysis in commodity derivatives products, knowledge of the standardized infrastructure for trading commodity derivatives and be highly computer literate (VBA is essential).
