VP Corporate Controller

Our client is a market leader in its industry with strong global presence. They have been posting very strong results and seen rapid expansion and growth in recent years. They are now looking to recruit a VP, Corporate Controller to lead their expanding finance team.

In this position, you will direct and oversee the global accounting function and provide leadership to a sizeable team of accounting professionals. You will oversee all accounting, control and reporting and be a business advisor to contribute to strategic business decisions. You will also be involved in overseeing the consolidation of the group’s results and work with the finance teams in each of the regions to ensure compliance with finance policies and procedures. As a key member of the leadership team, you will also be a trusted advisor on new developments on IFRS.

Ideally you are a degree qualified CPA with at least 15 year’s post graduation experience. You would have spent recent years in an executive role with accountability for all aspects of accounting. You have strong technical accounting knowledge and have worked with progressive multinationals. You have experience in managing a team, and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
