It concerns 2 commercial functions in the trading room of ING Belgium. You will be involved in various specific projects on which, partly due to your commercial aptitudes and your technical capabilities, you carry out transactions for Financial Market.
2. Responsibilities
You will be in charge of projects of the type "Market risk hedging" or "Investment" and so you will have to provide advice in typical corporate treasury or typical investor subjects. It is your job to carry out transactions primarily built in the form of “Tailor-made” solutions adapted to the needs of each project.
3. Organisational context
Financial Markets represents for ING and its clients a unique access to all financial markets operations. Its central role in the group has been reinforced throughout the years. The group has emphasised the synergies among the several trading places together with the strategic local contacts. Within the ING group there is a clear trend toward integration of the different Financial Markets centres (London, Amsterdam and Brussels). In other words the orientation of the different ING trading rooms is very much evolving from regional to international.
4. Skills and experience
You have a certificate Applied Economics, Commercial engineer, Civil engineer or equivalent. Additional training in finance is a plus for people without any economic training.
You profit either of a sales experience (preferably in the financial sector: Corporate/ Investors) or of an experience in the financial markets. The combination of both is an asset.
You have a very good knowledge of Dutch, French and English.
5. Personal profile
You are very commercial: the main objective is the sale of typical FM products.
You have an analytical mind: the price-fixing of FM products is through logical concepts. Math and probability calculations are never far off. You need to be able to evaluate quickly what the impact of certain market evolutions on the valuation of specific products is.
You are fascinated by financial markets: expertise is decisive in this rapidly evolving environment. A passion for finance is necessary to have the energy to permanently inform people and learn.
