A well-respected investment management firm is looking for a Funds lawyer for its Southampton office.
My client is looking for a Funds lawyer to join the legal team in its newly formed Investment Group, the establishment of which one has created one of the world’s largest MultiManager investment organisations. The role involves drafting and negotiating IMAs, and maintaining an up to-date knowledge of UK regulations/rules that affect UK Funds, including FSMA, FSA sourcebook, OEIC and ISA/PEP. The successful candidate will also be responsible for drafting and implementing new fund prospectuses. You will be working in a small team in Southampton, liaising with fund lawyers in London as appropriate.
The successful candidate will be a qualified lawyer with solid asset management/funds experience. Knowledge of the UK legal requirements for mutual funds and international experience of offshore vehicles is also required. This is an excellent opportunity to enjoy life outside of London, whilst working for a market-leading investment management firm.
