We are currently seeking a talented Litigation Attorney for our San Antonio, TX facility.

As a Litigation Attorney for USAA, you will provide legal advice and services of a moderately complex to complex nature to various internal clients.

Job Duties:

- Apply detailed knowledge regarding relevant business, industry and area of legal specialty. - Handle a variety of moderately complex to complex legal assignments and projects. - Conduct legal research and provide legal services. May assist more senior attorneys in highly complex legal services. - Provide practical problem solving on moderately complex to complex legal issues for various internal clients. - Handles moderately complex to complex negotiations, drafting and document creation.

Qualified candidates need to possess:

- JD from an accredited law school. - 3 or more years of legal experience. - Knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools and applicable software. - Must be in good standing with State Bar Association.

Preferred experience includes:

- 4-7 years' significant litigation experience directly handling class action matters, complex litigation and/or insurance bad faith claims in-house or in a large law firm environment. - Experience with financial services and insurance litigation issues. - Excellent proficiency with rules of civil procedure and document retention issues.
