Our client is an international financial institution.
Job Descriptioin:
The Specialist Commission Accounting will support the Transfer Agency activity and work within the Finance department.
The main responsibilities consist in taking care of the calculation of fees payable to our distributors. He/she will work in close relation with:
the dealing team and the sales managers
the accounting department
the sales offices
The distributors are entitled to rebates (or trailer fees) for the investments they bring in our funds. Upon signature of new agreements, the Specialist Commissions records the distributor details and the rebates terms in the company calculation system. The updates are then submitted to the supervisor for validation. At month/quarter-end, the Specialist Commissions reviews the completeness of the set-ups. He/she also participates in the quarter-end process by helping with payments validation and rebates reporting. Main duties:
Set up and maintain the rebate agreements in the rebate system;
Perform controls on a monthly/quarterly basis;
Follow-up the queries received;
Answer client/sales office queries and log these as required.
Ad hoc duties:
Ad hoc participation to the quarter-end process (preparation of mailing/emailing...)
Profile:
Bac +2 (educationin Economics or general Finance is an advantage);
Experience in and general knowledge of the investment management/fund business (experience as a transfer agent is an advantage);
