To provide leadership, direction and coordination on all activities of real time automated payments and ensure the compliance in accordance with the goals, objectives and approved policies and procedures.
My client is a major finance house focusing on several sectors of financial activity: Banking Services (Investment Banking, Corporate Banking & Private Banking); Capital Markets (Equity, Debt Instruments, Derivatives and Commodity Trading); Asset Management and Fund Registration; Insurance and Re-insurance; Islamic Finance.
Responsibilities
To review the long term business strategic goals and objectives of real time automated payments and provide direction to the team towards implementation
To meet revenue targets, budgets, policies and procedures with regards to automated payments and ensure effective implementation
To supervise, organise and manage the execution of activities at real time automated payments
To assess and develop the markets for events and conferences on focus sectors in education/training related areas, in addition to workings within marketing to develop and implement a marketing plan and ensure effective marketing
Develop and maintain relationships with external clients, partners and contacts
Develop internal relationships within the centre and related entities and external relationships with international regulators, technology vendors, banks, etc
To ensure that there are sound systems for decision making and control and that the systems are effective by having them regularly tested and reported upon.
To ensure that effective services are provided to existing and prospective members/clients as per the standards and procedures
Experience & Education
Min 10 years in wholesale payments /banking
5-7 years in a top managerial role handling business related decisions and functions
