My client is one of the major global Fund of Hedge Funds with a fantastic performance record over a number of years and current performance well above peers. This is due to their in-depth due diligence, manager research, risk management processes and their reputation which gives them access to invest in some of the top hedge fund managers that are closed to most other investors.

They are currently seeking to hire a Senior Risk Manager who will be involved in risk monitoring and controls of the underlying hedge fund investments. This will involve monitoring the hedge funds’ liquidity risks. It will also involve monitoring whether they remain within agreed trading limits, whether they remain within asset allocation limits, and identifying and assessing any other potential risks within the portfolios. Various monthly reports will also be written regarding the above and other risk issues.

They are keen to speak to senior risk professionals who may come from one of the following backgrounds: risk management professionals from another FOHF, Hedge Fund, or from an investment bank; risk management professionals from prime brokerage divisions.
