1. Job description Within the Payment & Cash Management organization, the PCM Sales is responsible for the marketing and sales of PCM products top large corporates and mass payment clients. The Assistant PCM-C (PCM- Consultant) provides to the PCM-C the administrative, commercial and technical support for the sales processes, including the issuance of proposals. He/she will also assist the PCM-C for implementation issues and for the operational aspects of the PCM business. 2. Responsibilities 2.1. Purpose of the function • To ensure payments and cash management marketing, sales and consultancy activities for corporate clients; • To act as most senior consultant in more complex payments and cash management deals. • Provide feedback and drive change for the product developments in the group in these areas so as to meet the requirements of CBD; • Be a single entry point for cash management matters in ING Belgium for the relationship managers as well as clients, Product Managers, etc...; • Coaching of the less experienced PCM Advisors. • Participate to the PCM Sales Targets of PCM Wholesale. 2.2. Responsibilities The senior PCM-C works under the management of the team head, and is responsible for:
- Project Management of complex proposals ;
- Proactive management of a dedicated customer portfolio;
- Close follow up on PCM relationship (extension, P&L);
- Be PCM relationship Manager for a restricted number of VIP customers;
- PCM marketing for its portfolio and sales support to the Corporate Account Managers ;
This includes: - the commercialisation of cash management products to Corporates
- the training of the Relationship Managers
- Follow up of the market trends, contribution to working groups and conferences;
- Customer meetings.
- Set up, together with the PAM-LAMs of marketing plans.
- Input to product management for product development.
3. Organisational context Position in organization: Wholesale Banking Product/Payments & Cash Management Sales.
4. Skills and experience The Senior PCM Consultant should:
- have a University degree
- have an advanced knowledge of English, written & spoken, and also Dutch and French (written & spoken), a 4th language is an asset.
- Knowledge in Payment and Cash management.
- Broad commercial experience.
- Senior PCM Consultants should have worked at least 2-3 years as Cash Management Consultants and have handled at least 10-15 complex proposals (of which 1 or 2 task force deals) under the guidance of Senior PCM Consultants.
5. Personal profile The Senior PCM Consultant should:
- have analytical and synthetic approach;
- have team spirit, but be able to work independently;
- be commercially minded;
- be flexible;
- willing to travel abroad;
- have a good drive and be eager to work.
