SCB is a leading bank with an enviable client list and deal access requires associate with Corporate Finance experience. The role will involve a good mixture of origination and exposure to senior management and an entrepreneurial working culture in telecom sector.
Key Responsibilities
Support senior staff on SCCG transaction origination and execution
Financial modeling
Preparation and presentation of information memoranda, pitch books, presentations, prospectuses, fairness opinions (including valuation), other forms of reports or BCAs under the supervision of Managing Directors
Carry out due diligence under the supervision of Managing Directors
Assist Managing Directors in structuring transactions
Collect, review and analyse financial and other information from multiple sources
Sector and client research
Contribute to the sourcing of new ideas
Ideal Candidate:
Highly motivated individuals with a strong record of achievement in academics
Candidates should have a Bachelors/Master/CPA degree from a good university and grades placing him/her in the top 10 percentile. Strong experience in investment banking/appropriate industry sector
Superior analytical aptitude, creative problem solving abilities and excellent communications skills
Key Skills (i)ability to work with Excel spreadsheets; (ii)familiarity with other key software's such as Word,Powerpoint, Bloomberg, etc.; (iii)generate prospectuses/information memoranda/investment teasers/pitch books; (iv)general industry/country/company researches; (v)ability to perform Discounted Cash Flow and other forms of valuation
