Our client, a rapidly expanding global financial services provider, is currently looking to recruit an experienced risk professional to join their newly created Operational Risk Team.

You will be responsible for helping to lead internal control assessments across operational and financial processes with a specific focus on operational risk. You will be actively involved in establishing a robust operational risk framework across the company’s business lines and operating countries. You will help with the identification of key risk indicators and the introduction of self risk assessments. You will actively analyse the effectiveness of the regional operational risk plan and provide feedback and comments to the global head office.

You will be an experienced risk professional with at least 10 years experience in Operational Risk, Internal Control or Audit related roles, with a wide range of financial product knowledge. You are likely to have hands on experience working within a banking environment and be comfortable working in regional teams. Strong analytical skills and the ability to approach problems independently and under pressure are key to success.
