SCB is a leading bank with an enviable client list and deal access requires analysts and associates with Finance experience. The role will involve a good mix of origination and execution, exposure to senior management and an entrepreneurial working culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Support senior staff on SCCG transaction origination and execution
Financial modeling
Preparation and presentation of information memoranda, pitch books, presentations, prospectuses, fairness opinions (including valuation), other forms of reports or BCAs under the supervision of Directors
Carry out due diligence under the supervision of Directors / Associate Directors.
Assist Directors / Associate Directors in structuring transactions
Collect, review and analyse financial and other information from multiple sources
Sector and client research
Contribute to the sourcing of new ideas
Ideal Candidate:
Highly motivated individuals with a strong record of achievement in academics and/or summer/full time employment in corporate finance
Candidates should have a Bachelors/Masters/CPA degree from a good university and grades placing him / her in the top 10 percentile. Strong experience in investment banking / appropriate industry sector
Superior analytical aptitude, creative problem solving abilities and excellent communication skills
Key skills (that they already have or would need to develop within a short time span) include
(i)ability to work with Excel spreadsheets;
(ii) familiarity with other key software’s such as Word, PowerPoint, Bloomberg, etc;
(iii) generate prospectuses/ information memoranda/ investment teasers/ pitch books;
(iv) general industry/ country/ company researches;
(v) ability to perform Discounted Cash Flow and other forms of valuation.
