To implement the Domestic Transformation Programme within ING Belgium, we are searching for 4 motivated senior Project & Change Managers.
Areas of responsibility 1. Project & Change management - To implement change objectives and implement projects from the initiation stage right through to handover to the existing organisation, working within agreed planning and budget and in accordance with agreed quality standards. - To draw up project plans, budgets and schedules and assume responsibility for direction of content, selected solutions and prioritisation. - To negotiate with interested parties about selected solutions if the project brings about a conflict of interests. - To act as the principal and person with final responsibility for sub-projects or change processes and to monitor consistency. To take part in project and steering groups and provide support to the parties concerned. - To interact with related projects and programmes. - To report on approach, next steps, quality and budget to the principal. 2. Research and recommendations - To carry out research and feasibility studies and provide recommendations on the configuration of processes and systems in the light of achieving strategic objectives. - To analyse business plans, cases, etc. and convert these pre-studies into change plans. - To advise principals and steering groups on how to harmonise project objectives with business objectives. 3. Co-ordination and direction/HR management - To initiate projects and assignments and provide operational management to several teams of internal and external employees in diverse disciplines. - To provide operational management to sub-project leaders in diverse disciplines. - To provide functional guidelines and instructions to internal and external suppliers. - To act as point-of-reference, counsellor, coach and advisor to subject-specialists and managers within the allocated field and to make an active contribution as part of intervision. - To ensure that rules and guidelines as well as (automated) support aids within projects are up-to-date and being correctly applied. - To flag up day-to-day problems and take appropriate measures. - To advise the senior management level in cases that extend beyond personal responsibility and/or in the event of complex problems and provide suggestions for improvement with respect to working methods, procedures, processes and methods currently in use. 4. Quality control for the specialist area - To ensure that project management knowledge, skills, instruments and training are of a high-quality with respect to content and specialist expertise and that these are recycled. - To be actively involved in the further professional advancement of the specialist area. Aptitudes Required aptitudes: - problem-analysis and opinion-forming - performance-driven - customer-focussed - persuasive - organisational sensitivity and at ease in a change environment - good planning & organisational skills - good decision-making ability Qualifications and skills - Preferably a university diploma in an economic, financial subject. An MBA or Master's qualification would be a plus. - Minimum 5 years' experience in project & programme management. Minimum 2 years' relevant banking experience. - A good knowledge of English and Dutch and/or French.
